What happened was that at the end of the last week, we identified a problem and found a temporary solution that was beneficial to many other web developers. The website that saw the spike in traffic (from 10 different countries) had been optimized for search engines and integrated with social media. As a result, Google offered the post as a relevant source for those searching for a solution. We can honestly say we helped people around the world over the weekend.
